Our Mission: to serve others in need

Our obligation as a garden ministry is to help feed the local hungry in central Oregon.  To do good works for others while promoting peace, communication and permaculture education for anyone that desires it.  We strive to help the hungry by not only feeding them but by teaching them how to grow food for themselves in a sustainable way often less expensive and sometimes free way to have fresh food at ones finger tips.

Cob Project Campus Ministries strives to provide produce to the local food banks and soup kitchens as grown.  It is our intention to grow the crops that the charities will be serving others.  Things that long store like many of the root crops, potato, onion, carrot, rutabaga, beans, gourds and many other types of organic veggies.  Some crops take more than a year to produce from seed and we plan to dedicate those crops as well regardless of the time it may take to produce.  We will also be growing culinary herbs for soups, stews and other cooking needs that the soup kitchens can use to flavor dishes with.   All at no charge from the CPCM community gardens.

CPCM has nearly five years of prep and ground work accomplished for the benefit of the community gardens.  The ministry is building 3 root cellar storage units to accommodate the long term storage of community grown produce free of charge to the groups that currently do not have enough long term storage for food.  This would cover long term storage items like potatoes.

We are striving to provide food resources to help meet short- and long-term community feed the hungry needs in central Oregon on an on-going basis.

Supplying and encouraging educational resources for children, adults, educators and families.

Working with the media, policy-makers, and other opinion-shapers on behalf of Cob Project Campus Ministries and it's volunteers.

Keeping the community informed about relevant current issues concerning permaculture education.

Giving people the opportunity for new experiences through gardening programs and permaculture services.
